Elwood -- Hours after winning 57-thousand dollars on the "Hoosier Millionaire" television show, police say an Elwood man was struck and killed by a truck as he walked to the same store where he bought the lottery ticket that earned him a spot on the show.
Seventy-three-old Carl Atwood suffered a serious head injury in Friday night's accident in Elwood. He died later at an Indianapolis hospital.
Hoosier Lottery Director Jack Ross says Atwood traveled to Indianapolis yesterday for a taping of the television game show, which airs on Saturday nights. After the taping, Atwood returned to Elwood with his check.
He was walking to the grocery store where he'd bought the winning ticket that landed him a spot on the lottery show when a pickup truck rounded a corner and struck him.

It's fucking snowing here like crazy today. I hate the goddamned snow I wish it would go the fuck away. I need to live somewhere where it's warm year round and I don't gotta worry about the snow, ever. I made my journal public too today. I mean why keep it friends only when I don't post anything that needs to be kept secret. I haven't decided on who all to remove yet.
