the joys of chrono trigger
I absolutely *love* Chrono Trigger. Okay, so I'm late in this realization but I've never played it before until now (*gasp!*). Neil has told me about it many times and I've thought to myself, "Hmmmm....it sure sounds cool, but man, I'd better hunker down and get ready to level-grind." I was wrong. Dead wrong! No level-grinding required and no tiresome random encounters. Yes!! The gameplay is super fun and the story is amazing.
What really took me by surprise though is how attached I've become to the characters. I find myself wanting to give Frog and Robo hugs often. And I thought I'd only feel that way about moogles! It's a pretty emotional game as well. Wish it hadn't taken me so long to finally play it.
Neil and I are considering going to the natural history museum on Saturday for their new Paleozoic Exhibit and possibly hitting Tokyo afterwards for eel bowl and sushi. It just seems like the right thing to do. Giant prehistoric marine creatures = sheer romance!
