Hope Seems So Unfounded
Over 2 months into summer and... goddamn is it taking a long freaking time to pass.
I'm currently on job number three for the summer... mind you, I'm still working job number two part time on top of it. Job number one at the drug store (technically doing photo, but they had me doing a whole bunch of crap throughout the store) is, finally, over and done with. Job two at Lush provides me with wonderful bath products, so I enjoy it. Unfortunately it provides me with minimal hours. Job three at Westjet is pretty killer. Run around an airport terminal with wheelchairs or unaccompanied minors. The people are pretty chill, and we're encouraged to be all laughy-jokey at work, because it makes the company look "friendly" and "fun". Kinda cool, 'cause you see it working when Guests come up to you and actually comment on how much they love flying with us because of "how great the people are". Fun times, for sure. And the job is super-easy. No complaints, though the pay could be better... mind you it's better than any of the other jobs I've worked in the past.
Thinking about going to Vancouver this weekend with my cheap flight plan... but it seems like everyone out there may be busy this weekend. Well, poo.
