I discovered the story in which Hawksley Workman's "Last Night We Were The Delicious Wolves" tells. It's one of those albums (actually, any of his work is), where you have to have a huge appreciation for creativity, storytelling and the ability to take any genre of music and make it your own.
Hawksley's music is like caviar. You have to have a very refined, selective taste for it. You have to be able to appreciate the subtlties that lie within the very strong facet it wears. Is facet the right word there? I don't quite know. I've been drinking. My face is a tad on the numb side.
Righto. Off to make nonsense somewhere.
Toodles.
