It was Thanksgiving Day and most people were busy preparing for a feast or getting together with family.  Kanako's grandparent's were going to meet with her aunts, uncles, and cousins, and they had invited Kanako to come with.  She declined though, much to her grandmothers relief.  Not anywhere near the rest of her family, and Kanako was already feeling not welcomed.  Besides, she had things to do.

In her Manolo Blahnik ankle-wrapped heels, Kanako stepped off the train she had been in for a little over half an hour.  As she headed away from the train, she looked at a small slip of worn paper in her hand.  On the paper were neatly written directions to an address.  The address was of a place that Kanako had hoped to never have to visit.  Things happen, however, and here she was.  Through habit, she touched the rims of her gucci 2936 sunglasses, a present from a boy she used to see regularly, as she looked for the street she needed to follow.

A little whiles later, Kanako could see the place up ahead.  It was a smaller building located between to larger buildings overpowering it.  The pathway that led to the building wasn't well taken care of and gave the appearance of being the runt of the city.  There was an omnimous feeling lingering over the area that caused pedastrians to look towards it, even if for a second.  It was a sore thumb, stuck between two beauties mockingly.

Despite the void perception the building gave off, there was still a good sized crowd standing outside the doors.  Kanako had a sinking feeling when she recognized the objective of the group.  Several of the crowd members were holding signs, and all were chanting a slogan.  Kanako had a strong urge to keep walking pass the building and not give it a second glance; however, she didn't travel all the way here just for a stroll.  Every week, she became closer and closer to being noticed.  She was already beginning to show a little, and her clothes emphasized it.  She couldn't back out, it had to be done today.

She inhaled sharply, preparing herself.  Boldly, she turned down the pathway and began walking.  One of the people in the crowd saw her and pointed her out.  Others turned toward her and began to say discouraging words, listing statistics and facts that Kanako could care less about.  It was either this or be kicked out of school.  She couldn't end up like her mom did.  She wouldn't allow it.  Kanako nudged the crowd of the way, not stopping and not looking at any of the people.  The walk seemed to be longer than it should have been, but soon, Kanako was walking triumphantly into the building to begin a long process.  By tomorrow, she would be safe.  Until then, she had plenty of time to plan how she could use Ax and how long she would be able to pull it off.  Judging by his intelligence, this could be a long running scheme.
