Thank you! This was my first attempt at something a little more graphic than PG-16 so I was kinda nervous about it, but I like how it turned out. I'd love to write more, but the plot bunnies keep escaping me. ^^;

This was really something else. I've only read a scant few DN fanfics with this kind of elegant writing flow. It really grips you and by the very end you're surprised and yet you ind've expected something like that, y'know? It's... hard to explain. But the root of it all is: I enjoyed it very much. And I can see why you won the contest. There's a great deal of thought and emotion put into this. You can really tell. And I think you portrayed Near and Mello very well.
