Natsumi walked around bored she kind of wished she had made a least a few friends to hang out with but she had to get over it. Natsumi window shopped a bit since she didn't have any money and couldn't buy anything. She thought of going to Tokyo Tower but that cost a bunch of money to get in besides only kids on school trips went there she didn't

Amanda sighed as she was shopping. She was bored and didn't know what to do. And Leo's training was going badly. She just wasn't learning how to do anything right. It wasn't like fighting, she wasn't a natural at being a perfect Japanese wife. She blinked as she saw Natsumi and a group of girls, but it didn't look like a nice conversation.

She edged closer to hear the tail end of the conversation. She grinned as she walked over. "Natsumi! I thought I'd lost you, and I don't know the area all that well." She blinked at the other girls naively, giving Natsumi a wink to tell her that she was on her side, in a way that the other girls wouldn't see.

"I'm sorry umm..." her mind raced for a name but couldn't think of it. "I was thirsty and guess I wasn't paying close attention to you during my quest to find a vending machine." Natsumi stood up nervously looking back at Akiyama. "Well we better be going." she turned quickly on her heel. She tried to stay calm she had already did her monthly one on one session with the psychiatrist at the family clinic and couldn't talk about this incident at the group one. She kept telling herself to stay strong and not let old instincts get the better of her.

Amanda followed close at her heel, smiling as she caught up quickly. "I'm Amanda Ev--uh......Sawada. Just so you know. It didn't look like a fair fight, so I hope you don't mind that I stepped in."

"Oh no problem I greatly appreciate it. Those girls are the reason second term I'm in a whole new set of classes. I'm Natsumi Kawashi by the way." She introduced herself. "How can I make up today for you?"

Amanda blinked at her a few times, then smiled brightly. "Do you wanna be my friend?"

Natsumi looked over at Amanda in surprise and relife. "That would be great."

"Ne, ne, why were those girls picking on you anyways? You don't seem to have any reason to be picked on...." Amanda asked, blinking a few times and looking at her with a confused expression.

"Her boyfriend had a crush on me. I didn't even talk to him and when I found out I told him I would never date him because she was my friend. I guess it didn't matter her jealousy got the better of her." Natsumi's eyes opened wide. "Not that I'm saying I'm something worthy of getting jealous of."

Amanda blinked a few times, then smiled at her. "Human nature is to be jealous of something they don't have. You have beauty, so naturally people without beauty will envy you. I think you have a lot to be jealous of."

"Its not natural beauty though. I'm the result of extreme diets and live off of cosmetics. Its not to much to be jealous of all girls are the same in that sense aren't they?"

Amanda looked at her in confusion. "I wouldn't know, I don't really spend much time with anyone my own age. But I don't wear that makeup stuff. It takes too much time to put on, and I don't often have time to spare for that type of stuff. But you're pretty, if you weren't, cosmetics wouldn't help anyways."

"Well thanks I guess." said Natsumi looking down in embarrassment. "I should be getting home soon or mom will freak. Thanks once more Amanda."

Amanda gave her a smile. "Don't worry about it. We're friends now, and I wont let anyone pick on my friends. I'll see you later, ne?"
