Tai-San walked down the street with small but firm steps, she was so mad at Mega, and she hadn't cooled down at all since she'd taken the long walk from headquaters. He could be such a little...bastard, though she hated to think that way, she'd really had enough of him pushing her around. Her balance was bad enough she really didn't need him jerking her around and tossing her back, how many times had she twisted her ankle because of that? It was hard to find her inner peace with his lunatic ravings in quiet tones, and it was doubly hard to enjoy reality space when the threat of him ripping her out of it at any moment always loomed over her head. Now she was headed to her old stomping grounds, The Mall, where reality space no longer existed, where Tai-San would have to deal with her addiction the old way, meditation, fasting maybe, restoring her inner calm. Could this be the get away she really needed? She hadn't found herself by leaving the Mall at all, she'd ..lost herself to something else much more sinister than her own demons and heartache.
On the topic of that, how was she going to deal with seeing Lex again? As prepared as she'd led herself to believe she was with her reality space conversations, they all felt fake and two dimensional to her, and she knew it wouldn't go that way, and this left an uneasy feeling inside of her, fearing the unkown. This wasn't much like her old self, she felt lost and confused, what was she going to do? Tai-San pulled her cloak hood tighter around her face, glancing around at the people, avoiding the hoodlums racing around in the streets chanting something about zappers and stingrays. She thought she'd caught sight of a few people she knew, but she wasn't sure and she didn't want to find out, not until she was all the way to the Mall.
