(no subject)
I played hooky from work this afternoon while my dad's cruise ship was docked here to go to lunch (sushi) and then we walked around La Jolla Cove to look at the harbor seals. Saw some cool pelicans and a snowy egrit too.
Funny how now I can't seem to get that much work done.
I did finish writing my midterm exam this morning though, so I'm happy about that. The test is Thursday night. Hopefully it's not too hard.
We have more company coming in Thursday too - Mike's sis, her hubby and our niece....haven't seen the baby in a while. She can say my name now, I've heard her say it on the phone. We have attempted to baby-proof the place, and have moved all low-to-the ground breakables.
It's gonna be a busy week.
