School sucks, and I don't think anyone would deny that. I find it ironic that during the summer, we actually miss school. When we get back, we suddenly remember how much work there actually is, and just want to go home again. I've found myself very disenchanted with school, even moreso in the past. It feels as if every class I go to now, the "professors" don't actually teach the material but rather shove it in your face and demand that you teach yourself. It's kind of a wtf to me, why should I teach myself when I/the state is paying thousands of dollars for YOU to teach ME? I find it so frustrating that we can't really "talk back" to the professors regarding issues like this for fear of getting a bad grade or something worse. Why must the world run based on performance in school? Many people I know are the laziest fucks in the world, yet I'm sure when we finally get out of here, they'll be some of the most successful people I know. Why is it so impossible for professors to actually stimulate our minds and not just assign more and more coursework? Most of our favorite teachers are the ones who take the time to actually make it fun to learn instead of just teaching. So let's just get rid of teachers and make school fun.
