time to update again
Well. This has been a very very busy year. But I figure I should update since I somehow have time to right now, which I actually really don't. but whatever.
staying true to my OCDness, list style update yet again:
1. only 6 more weeks of school left. HALLELUJAH. I'm so so so ready for school to be over. although, that means the seniors are graduating. and I'm going to be a wreck. especially with the fact that that means Sadie won't be at school anymore. that just really sucks.
2. research paper is due a week from tomorrow. and I'm totally on track and it is such a relief. WOOT.
3. That Hideous Strength is due three days later. it's 380 pages and I'm on 25. ha. go me. but seriously, after Les Mis. I can read, annotate, and journal anything.
4. I have come to learn that most guys are pigs and just want to get in your pants. which is disgusting. I love how guys try to mess with me when I make it very known that I don't put up with any crap. bah. ohhhh how stupid they are.
5. Prom is in less than two weeks and I am STOKED. my dress is like the prettiest thing on the face of the earth. I'm insanely excited.
6. We're reading The Purpose Driven Life in Bible, and it's absolute crap. well. I take that back. some of it is. actually. what's crap is "The Message" paraphrase of the Bible, which seriously has problems. I don't want a freaking paraphrase, I want the actual translation.
7. If certain people read what I just wrote in #6, they'd probably shoot me. oh well.
8. I got the worst sunburn on Saturday and I'm pissed. I've never burned that easily before and this is NO GOOD.
9. I re-hurt my knee skiing in Aspen 2 weeks ago, but I think it's getting better. yay.
10. I didn't make Chorale. I knew I wasn't going to. My audition went pretty horribly. And I'm totally okay with not making it. It's not the end of the world. It's just chorale. I still have another year.
Well. I like ending it on 10, so I guess I'll just stop there.
