I just got back from work and Hannah is still not here. She told me she was going to be back for dinner last night, but I figured she had just stayed late at work. I know she wants to get ahead and get noticed at work, but I imagine they'd make her come home after more than 24 hours there. She is only just starting out. I highly doubt they ( Read more... )

She's not with me either, Sus. Last time I heard from her was when she sent me a box of cream puffs -- which were lovely by the way, devoured it the second I got it in the from owl post, but that's not the point.

What in the name of Merlin's bollocks is going on? I heard security is on high alert right now. This kind of thing makes me glad I'm living in Muggle London.

Are you still in the flat, Sus? Stay there and I'll apparate ASAP. You can't be alone, ok?

Yes, I'm in the flat. And I'm not techinically alone. I've got Ichabod and Sassy. A lot of help they'd be if something happened, though...

My dad put some special wards up that won't allow anyone who's not a member of the Bones family to apparate directly into the flat. He shut off the Floo network, too. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to get to work, but I do feel much safer. I'll have him add you and Ernie to the people allowed to apparate in, though. But, for the moment, apparate outside of the building and I'll let you in.

Please hurry, though. I really don't know how much longer I can stay sane if I'm by myself.
