decisions
recently i made one of the hardest decisions i have ever made. i decided NOT to go on a semester abroad. this seems ridiculous. pray tell, kristen, why ever do you not want to have an amazing time in a foreign country?
i weighed the pros and cons heavily.
PROS
-living abroad... DUH
-meeting new people from all over
-italy
-italy...
-italy?
-making art with new professors + techniques
-growing as a person
-being away from everything/one i know
CONS
-$$$
-they don't offer sculpture classes (FAIL)
-i would miss making SO MUCH STUFF
-being away from everything/one i know
-plus my mom said that she would give me a ticket to go anywhere after i graduate
-possibility of graduating late
-being behind on my thesis
like i said... a hard decision. one that many around me criticize, but also one that others support, with understanding.
damn.
in other news... i've started a book club!!! yay! my first step into becoming my mother! our first books are the time traveler's wife and a wrinkle in time (i've read that already, but no one else had, so i thought it was necessary that they did)
