Work's been a bitch the last little while, I've trained 6 employees in the last 2 weeks. I'm all for training pay, and I'm all for lessening my own work schedule. Wasting my valuable time, that I'm not for. Of those 6 new folks, we have 1 left, and that kid is STRANGE. The last one to quit was probably the straw that broke the camel's back for me, because I went out of my way to put up with how annoying this little bitch was. He's 18, and his parents disowned him, which he thought was a mighty parallel in our lives. He got disowned because A)He got his 22 year old girlfriend preggers, and B) He got busted with dope, and is now on probation! A class act, I know. Nevertheless, I listened to him drone on about his 'hot' girlfriend and how 'badass' certain cars were, etc. for 4 days of training. (Keep in mind that while I have a trainee, I'm obliged to split my tip money with them.) The end of day four rolls around, and he informs a manager that he may have another job lined up that he just can't refuse. About 30 minutes later, he quits based on the same bullshit story (it's a whole separate rant of it's own). So I got a little ill and told him how little I cared about his fugly, preggo-cankled, trailer-trash girlfriend, and assured him that his life was NOTHING like mine, and that I could give a shit less if his new job worked out. **sigh** Great news, I have a new trainee lined up for tomorrow already.
Aside from that, I just watched my DVR'd LOST, and I'm thinking I may just be done with the show for good. WTF, JJ? Maybe SPN will redeem my TV week, ugh.
