(no subject)
preformed infront of my first crowed yesterday, that was fun. it went by way to fast. it was like, i set up all my shit, then bam it was over. i found it funny that people thought we only played three songs when we played twice that. i think its just becausee we had transitions inbetween them and we were just too smooth for the crowd or something. the first three songs i couldent hear my guitar. so i assumed that everything i was playing was off and not perfect. so afterwards i was kind of bummed, but after watching the video, we all nailed everything perfect. besides a few guitar malfunctions and setlist confusion, it was good. i feel confident our next one will be more complete and our songs will be even more epic and good. people were pumped, i was pumped. the most amazing thing was like 4 people atleast that ive never met before comming up to me telling me it was an amazing show. seirously, woah. one was this gnarly looking metal guy and he said he loved it. wow. such a compliment. haha. ohoh! and i had my first heckler too! he was from the band that was playing after us. which was some (i hate to say it) emo-core band named save us all! what assholes. i was tuning my guitar and was apologizing for the sound problems and made a joke like "i guess its me thats making that horrible sound" and that guy was like "HAHAHAHAH!" and i turned and looked at him and flipped him off (i dont remember doing this but, its in the video). oh well, he was lame and his band sucked. but all and all it was a fun time, people seem to dig it. and that makes me happy.
