I DON'T WANT TO BE A FUCKING LIFEGUARD!!!
What part of "no" don't parents understand? I'm already organizing music in the band library for Norm over summer and am getting paid for that. And I'll prolly apply at the library too. It pays 11.25 an hour on Sundays...
Summer jobs: the bane of my existence. Well... I've never really had one before so I guess it's not YET the bane of my existence.
Friday is Lwood's prom. Certain things apparently aren't going to turn out the way I had originally anticipated and been informed about. It's a little disappointing but perfectly fine. It's not for a major part of the night anyway.
Afterwards... what are we doing?
I'm a tad curious about what the post-prom activities are going to include and where they will be held. I'm excited though. I'm going to have fun. I'm DETERMINED to have fun! YAAAY!!!
That was a lot of "I'm"s
I decided not to go to my own junior prom because at CC junior prom is NOT a big deal. So far, I've heard there are only 8 couples going haha. R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S.
Yesterday was so f-ing boring. And it was snowing? Please, someone remind me--- exactly WHAT month is it? Are we aware that in a week it is going to be MAY?! It does not SNOW in the week preceding the month of MAY!
I talked on the phone all day. That's all I did.
Amanda Antzack made my day. She told me horror stories about Brother Rice's prom which were incredibly amusing. Her power went out just as she stepped out of the shower. Since her house gets water from a well, there was no way to access it. She had to resort to wetting a washcloth with water in a cooler in the garage to shave her legs with, drying her hair with the fireplace, and straightening it with a brush.
Quote of the month from Amanda:
"I felt like fucking Laura Ingalls Wilder or something."
Hysterical.
I'm kind of in the mood to go to someone's house and be all depressing and nostalgic...
odd...
Cruise in 355 days!!!
How come it's so hard to motivate people to go with me? Growl.
