The Internet can be a very small place....
When you spend a whole day avoiding any spoiler about the Emmy's.
I don't know how many pages I opend and quickly closed today.
I mean I managed to see supporting actor in a drama. Where I was reaallllyyyy really hoping for Hiro to win.
Alas Pro Sieben decided that it would be a great place to place a commercial and then just get on with the programm without announcing who won. ~growl~
Now finally watching...althou I am falling half asleep but I am not going through another day like that. ;)
And first day back at work......(guess you can imagine the smile on my face O_o)
The last one was the best in a very sarkastic way of saying it.
Selfinstallation...which ment the person at least pretended to have enought knowledge about computer to need no install the internet without any help. And frankly it is rather easy if you don't do anything at all and just plug in the cable it normaly works.
Now this guy was calling 2 minute before I would have been able to leave.
.) He had put in proxy server which are not using
.) hat put in a DNS server that that instead of ending with a number from 13-22 ended with 119
.) Had put in a DFÜ connection that he didn't need at all
.) and had managed to look himself out with a firewall that he didn't even knew he had.
And when after 25 minutes I was finally almost finished with him he had the nerve to ask me
"They didn't say that it would be so hard"
Well if you wouldn't have done all that things it WOULD have worked.
It is just like shooting yourself in the foot and then complaining that the walkpath isn't as as easy as it had been said.
