Okay...so I am a wimp! FF Warning Rant
Since I am currently running out of House/Wilson FanFic. Looking for long stories. And found out that the Starsky and Hutch Archive finally had moved and been updated.
I fell back to an old fandom.
A long story was quickly found. Even by a good writer whose name I reconised.
A two part story that translated into about 3600 Pages on my reader.
Since I saw no warning I didn't think anything harmful. (Now again....it was not a bad story. It was by a great writer and it was written well..althou I had some Kafka Flashbacks..no real big ones.)
Okay...Start of the story
Starsky get hit in the leg with a 2x4. (The leg isn't just broken. It is smasched. Including kneecap. Not something very heathly for a cop in those times.)
Then Cancer is prognosed. and Chemo. (But heck this is Fanfic so althou pain no problem with an happy end.)
End of Chemo....Cancer still there (it is an agressive type)
Starsky leg gets sawn off and another round of chemo (Suspicion rising)
Starsky wants to stop chemo to die in peace. (O_O)
The doctor tells him that there wouldn't have been any hope anyway (That was page 1900 of 3600. Which I unfortunally was reading at 5:20 in the morning to help me sleep)
After that I knew that I there was no chance that this story would end well. FF to the last pages (I am grateful I am no longer printing those stories) and yes...he is dead.
Damn...call me weak...but I REALLY hate getting such stories without warning especially when they are serenating you by being long ones.
