I FINALLY did it!
I applied for an internship with Marvel! I'm hoping to work in their Editorial program which means I would deal with the process that gets comics "from the creators' heads to readers' hands. Interns help facilitate the editorial process, including the transmittal and receipt of artwork, plots, and scripts." How wicked would it be to be checking out new scripts?! AH! I hope I get it, I applied for next summer/next school year. If you too are ridiculously geeky like me then apply!

I quit bath junkie...I know, I know its very sad
And...
I AM getting that sinus surgery. It will take place at Memorial Herman on the 30th. Due to this lovely procedure I am not allowed to have any alcohol two weeks prior to it or after. What blows about this is that I am once again trapped with my family in Florida. For those of you who don't seem to grasp the horror of the situation, what we do here is drink- that way we can stand being with each other for so long. Now since that has been taken away, I am ready to jump off my balcony to get away from these people. My brother brought this "kid" (and I say it with quotations because really he's the 18 year old socially inept thing who, for reasons unknown, is getting married in 8 months!) and they won't shut up about World of Warcraft, my mother is just being obnoxious and my dad is fixing electronic equipment so he's SO pleasant to be around... ah...
Thus, the only way I've been able to cope is by searching for jobs and internships. So really, its a good thing. I just wish being here wasn't so damn awful.
Well I hope all is well in your world kiddos! All for now
