I had my birthday. It was good. Actually, I had to work which was kind of a downer, but I didn't mind it too much. I wanted my birthday to be recognized by two people. Same thing I wanted last year, really. Last year one of the two did, and this year the other of the two did. Fifty fifty, not too bad I guess.
Found out that someone came to Florida and didn't bother to tell me about it. It pretty much solidified that I would put more effort into a friendship with him, than he would with me. Things like that always still a little, but what can you do about it?
Oh... and Cody thinks I'm jaded. Which I guess isn't too far off, but not entirely true. It's much easier, in conversation to appear unaffected by unsettling events as opposed to actually showing emotion. For me it is, anyway. I'm too convivial for my own good. Someone seriously, pull something out of me. I'm waiting.
Good news?
I got a digital camera. It's a Nikon, and it's terribly cute. lol. Yeah, I base my camera choice on it's cute factor shutup. :)
Getting a little bit excited about the upcoming John Mayer shows. I really like the new album, and the idea that some of the songs have more of a political spin. And that he used Ben Harper in one of them, and covered Hendrix in another. Death Cab is coming up, too...and I love them, and I loved seeing them last year, and I'm going to love seeing them again.
Halloween costume ideas? REALLY CAN'T WAIT CAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE HILARIOUS. Actually, it'll only be funny to people who have ever lived in Martin or St. Lucie County. Local celebrities. CROSSMAN, AMERICAN FLAG GUY, COWBOY, DANCING GIRL ON SAVANNAH ROAD, and MAD DOG. Be excited, be so excited.
And I did a nice thing today.
Probably for my own selfish purposes, because I like when people get excited about little things, but whatever. I'm hoping it'll brighten his day a little bit. We'll see on Thursday.
