so...i'm really digging The Shins today. or right now. and yes, yes i did just say "digging".
so. i went home early yesterday. i didn't feel that great but a few
hours later i felt better. and i didn't go to school today either. i
just didn't really feel like it. and this sucks acid but i didn't get
to go to my art class tonight which is commencing as we speak were my
lovely Meredith is with that lady who is really awesome and is like my
surrogate mother and i am sad that i am not there. but all is okay.
i really want to go shopping this weekend. this is strange since i have
no idea how to shop without any money. maybe someone will drop a few
benjamins on the sidewalk and i will swipe them up, put them in my
wallet that has holes in it, and i shall wisk myself away to the land
of commercial-dom
(aka-"we'd-like-to-take-your-money-and-make-you-pay-for-things-that-are-way-overpriced-that-you-know-you-shouldn't-buy-but-you-do-anyways-kthanksbye"
world)
anyone want to join me?
comment with some mp3s people. i'd love to hear what you're listening to.
{actually i kind of just want some free mp3s and if any of you post
some, that would take the work out of asking each of you indivdually
and then trying to find the music online. what? i thought i'd be
honest}.
also...not that anyone cares but Sabrina Ward Harrison is coming out with a new book. i think it's a journal. but i dunno. but she is amazing and awesome and i am extremely jealous of her journaling skills.
and this made me smile and laugh {it's from The Onion)
Bill Gates Finally Getting Into Radiohead's Kid A
September 12, 2001 | Issue 37•32
REDMOND, WA- Eleven months after purchasing the Radiohead album, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates announced Monday that he is "finally getting into Kid A." "I listened to it a few times when I first got it, but it just wasn't grabbing me," Gates told The Seattle Post-Intelligencer. "I liked 'Morning Bell' and 'Optimistic,' but the rest just seemed like this intentionally weird mess. Then I took it out again maybe a month ago, and it finally started to sink in. Now I think I even like it better than OK Computer." Gates said he still hasn't gotten around to picking up Amnesiac.
