(no subject)
I waitressed last night. I made 60 bucks in tips for only 4 hours of waitressing. Not bad, I must say. Not bad at all.
Also, this week I got a 30 cent raise! I finally make more than minimum wage! I'm up to 5.30 an hour, haha.
Once school starts, I'm not going to work Fridays anymore, unless they desperately need me. Which is fine, I just want to go to football games or something. Go out. Have fun. Working both Friday night and Saturday night sucks. Damn, when Darci asked me I should have said I wanted to work Thursday instead of Saturdays. Boo. Oh well. So I'll be working (roughly) 17 hours a week (probably a little more, probably 18-18.5 because I don't leave right at close every day). (Roughly) 85 dollars a week. A little more, I don't know how much taxes get taken out.
This is quite a boring post. But 60 dollars in tips, slafjsdkfj! I was psyched.
With this raise and now working Saturdays, I'll be able to afford my car, birthday presents, christmas presents, and still have money to shop. I don't hate working so much anymore. And I actually LIKE the people I work with. Except Marge, but whatever. I just ignore her or make fun of her with Mikey and Matt.
Ho hum..I can't think of anything that's NOT work related. Oh well, except that I am totally excited for school shopping and that I WILL be buying shoes/jeans from KMART if they look as good in the flesh as they do in the flier/magazines. The more cheap things I buy, the more expensive stuff I can afford. I love having money.
Alright, I'm going to bed. I came upstairs to finish watching Usher's Driven, but instead got online. I'm a nerd.
