went to simply jeff...no one was there *le grrrr* where the hell were you diana? rachel? et.al? i spent like a good hour looking for you. jeff was sooooooooo awesome. so awesome that i actually went downstairs and danced...yes, i danced. for a good long time too.
funny story:
i ran into this guy who was 2 years behind me in HS. he was in my bio class for a few weeks and asked me out. of course, because i can't say no, i said sure and took him shopping with me and my friends for a prom accessory. hehehe anyway, we started talking kinda...and apparently he worked at le bare for a while. it was crazy though, because you could tell he stripped by the way he danced. he was all trying to get me to dance with him in this crotch to butt way... i was like "i don't know how blah blah i don't want to blah blah my boyfriend wouldn't like it blah blah"--anything to get him to back off. and he was like um well my girlfriend blah blah. i was like...what? i so thought he was hitting on me, but he wasn't. i guess you had to be there because he was all getting down and doing that fluid butt shake thing. i went from being extremely annoyed to almost laughing out loud. it was even funnier when he got into this dance competition circle thing and all the guys were break dancing and there he was "stripping" hahahaha. they were all laughing at him and he thought he was the shit. (he might have been if he was stripping or whatever but no...not there and then). i walked off to do more friend searching. oh oh oh and he showed me how he got his nose pierced (like a girl) and i suggested that if that doesn't work out that an eye-brow piercing might work with his facial features...he was like ummmm no, i don't want to look like a punk. bwahahaha.
anywho, i ended up finding some people i knew and going to an after party cuz they were leaving and i wasn't in the mood to go home or stay there. it was ok, i discussed religion/metaphysics/neuroscience with 3 guys who were tripping etc. we were all on the same page but kept saying it differently, and none of us wanted to admit it becuase we all just wanted to talk. humerous. i ended up getting 2 names out of the conversation...something groff and james austin. james austin is a really famous old scholar who's a devout zen buddhist and a neuropharmacologist/neurosurgeon. i'm definitly going to be reading his work. all in all i had a marvelous time. suprising, because the situation had disaster written all over it (in sharpie no less).
so i've been up soooo late and was dancing and talking for sooooo long that i'm completely wired. i'm waiting to crash, cuz i will...and hard. work will be loads of fun, lemme tell you.
i got kudos again today for what a badass i am :) i unloaded like 6 boxes of books in one shift. 4 is the goal for an entire day.
also, jon visited me at work. long time no see :-D we hardly recognized each other. hopefully he will be coming to work with me soon. :) he and josh need to hurry and apply.
oh and btw. i found out that kid icarus is going to be playing a speed garage set tonight at homebar from 12-1. i'm so there. long time no speed garage. mmm tasty.
