(no subject)
so i get this great new job and a week and a half into it i get really really sick and figure it's strep so i go to the doctor. test positive for strep and get the antibiotics. so several days and two ER visits later we find out that yeah sure i have strep and a sinus infection, but i also have mono (no wonder the 3 different antibiotics didn't make my throat or fever any better). so now i'm looking at missing at least another week of work and feeling like shit the entire time. nothing to do either because i've finished watching all of the buffy episodes we own and finished harry potter (good, but frustrating and slightly disappointing) on the up side, this last ER visit they gave me steroids which made my throat 100 times better, so i'm just dealing with random fever spikes, which are controllable. oh oh and i have 2 bottles of liquid hydrocodone heh heh heh.
i've decided that the gorillaz are awesome...of course anything remotely related to blur is bound to rock. i am kind of disappointed in their latest album...really good, but not as hip-hoppy as i would have liked and figured seeing that they brought danger mouse in on it. whatever. it's still all beautiful and what not. definitely good enough to listen to when i'm all feverish.
