Last week, our summer program went to Futuroscope in Poitiers. Futuroscope is an amusement park (I suppose you could call it that), with a general theme of technology. It was more a collection of IMAX screens than an amusement park, really. Anyway, it was about 6PM and the group I was in was about halfway through the park. They decided it was time to leave and get dinner. Well, I wasn't okay with that, so a friend and I decided to stay behind.
Turned out to be a great decision- the best things in the park happened to be the things we did after everyone left. We saw a couple IMAXs and went up a rotating tower (not a bad view from the top), but the best was a ride called "Dance With The Robots." You basically sat at the end of a robotic arm, and got thrown around in different directions for a couple minutes. It was a ton of fun.
So much, in fact, that we rode it five times. Yeah, we're strange. We know.
