oh carmina, sagacious guidance counselor, i like your reasoning for all of them. my problem with school is that i did it for so long (well as long as most people we associate with) and that once i graduated, i became depressed, directionless, and bitter. I felt like i couldnt go back to school just to avoid working and being in the real world. i had the hopes that working a "real" job (where all of a sudden you're like, "WAIT! YOU MEAN ITS NOT MY GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO GET VETERAN'S DAY OFF?") would in some ways be better than school because i could learn what i want and don't want in a job while making and not spending money (on school). and learning what you don't want to do is just as important as figuring out what you do want, at least thats what my sis is always telling me. like i know i don't want a job where i sit in front of a computer all day... and i didn't know that before. i used to think sitting in front of a computer playing on the internet was a dream come true, i could write lots of testimonials and interesting bulletins, and Tom would crown me homecoming queen of the internet. but alas, my dreams are really not at all. anyway, i will keep you updated.
