It's been a while. :]
I just wanted to post about Thrill The World, because it's OVAR, and has been one of the coolest experiences of my life.
I spent six weeks helping teach over 200 people in my town how to do this dance... and words just can't do justice to the feeling I got in that gynasium the first night. I honestly wasn't expecting ten people to show up. When I walked through the doors, there were already about fifty people there, jamming to HIStory and talking about MJ. By the time we started dancing there were over one hundred people, all there for the love of Michael. Little kids, old people, dancers, people [like me] who had obviously never danced before in their lives, Christians, pagans, people of all colours and shapes and sizes... I was positively ecstatic. There was a huge, stupid grin plastered on my face the whole time. And everyone was so excited to be there... they cheered and clapped and hee-hee'd every time they learnt a new move. :D The energy was incredible.
So we practiced every week for six weeks.. by the end of it we were one big happy family. And the turnout on Saturday was epic! :D

[If you want to find me, I'm the one in front in the socks. ^^;]
But the coolest part of the story, one thing I'll keep with me for the rest of my life, was this:
After the final dance, this woman came up to me holding a little boy of about four or five in her arms. She mouthed to me, "Psst...He thinks you're Michael Jackson." So I gave him a grin and asked him his name, in my best MJ voice. He just grinned real big and buried his face in his mum's shoulder. We kind of played peek-a-boo like that for a minute, but he was too shy to say anything. :]
But... I got to let this kid meet MJ... even if he only believes it for a few weeks or years... that really made my entire night/life. I'm so so grateful to have had that opportunity. :] I know Mike was smiling down on that moment. ^^
