lets start with SEPA in Atlanta, March 17-19, i had alot of fun, was really nervous, so nervous that i think i almost had an anxiety attack complete with racing heart, difficult breathing, chest AND arm pains. arent i a putz. PLUS i wore killer heels that well, kinda killed me. but hey, peter said i looked great, and that made it all worth it.
Hes a real good talker, talked to alot of the people at the event, i talked to maybe 4-5 people. I sought out the women and the older men. Younger guys, you give me the heebie jeebies. dunno why, guess how you look straight into my eyes.
BUT, then there was a parade right outside my hotel window! Didnt watch it for too long though my feet were killing me, but it did look pretty! I did like the hotel alot though. it was a little crowded when we were there, but we got a nice suite with wonderful windows and an excellent view of peachstreet. and i got to use the microwave for my bagel since breakfast was very crowded and the toaster was being used... lol
Had some wonderful food there, duck and brulee at the pleasant peasant, belgian waffles at the hilton, sushi at the chinese restaurant below his uncles condo, and then, sunday morning, soup, steak, and brulee at the sun dial at the very top of the westin hotel! It was SO pretty. it really was.
And i managed not to get car sick. However, i spent alot of my time on the trip sleeping... guess i was just revved up too high the whole time and always trying to seem really calm on the outside when i was going nuts on the inside!
the 20th, had to go do taxes... had to PAY $400 which SUCKED. but what can you do, spoiled my shopping day... then i didnt really do anything else the rest of the week until the 24th when i went to hilliard to pick strawberries. Then went shopping and spent $75 on close, thank goodness for the $15 coupon. gotta love those.
And the avenues mall had the plumeria lotion my cousin wanted and they were having a buy 3 get 1 free sale so i was able to get gifts for the other girls. :D
Saturday went to the towncenter to take photos of couples for the psych stuff. People are really not interested.
Some were nice and they took really cute photos :)
we were there for over an hour and only got photos of 3 couples/families... yea... but they turned out nicely. :)
Peter and i hung out the rest of the night, went to outback where i had their espresso martini, and i didnt care for the cream, but it was still very good, not at good as the...cellar?
Sunday, peter was here, went with me to meet up with Erin who was super nice enough to take 2 of the baby goldies off my hands. :)
tonight i just finished writing my precis for class, ill read the assignment tomorrow morning.
Its been nice getting to see alot of peter lately since i know he will be gone very very soon. He flies out to penn state on the 19th of april to look at everything there. I wish i was going, but i think i might cry. thinking about the time he goes and wont be coming back makes me choke up as it is. i know im a wuss...
but, anyways, this trip he will be back on the 21st and then the 22nd we will go to Isa's FIRST b-day party. should be fun, we will fly kites and stuff out at little talbot. so it should be ok.
Im thinking ill get a job in july or august so that i will have something to do with my time when peter is gone. AND ill have money to fly and go see him and stuff like that. i just have to find a place to work that will hire me and pay me enough... and work with my schedule... sigh.
but i know i can do it. i certainly have the time...
but anyways, i just thought it was time for an update. lol.
