500 25thousand 600 minutes...
even though i've never seen rent on stage, i'm kind of eager to see it when its in theaters.
hm.
my bday weekend was amazing. couldn't ask for anything better and couldn't ask for better friends.
even tho i was stressed beyond belief when my original location fell through on the day of the party,
drew and his roommates were amazing and allowed me to bring 50+ over there.
the days before were fun and i got to spend them with great people.
the morning of my bday [sat], samm and i did child things...
well, kind of: we walked to starbucks [no cars for children just yet, you walk EVERYWHERE] we got there EARLY!!!, we loaded up on caffeine and then walked back to charlies. instead of going in and passing out, we got in her car and drove around, woot. duckies at the pond, sitting in cop cars, music from the past. loved it. at around 9:30a i called my friend to reassure them i would bring by the list of people that were attending, but that's when i received the bad news. for the next three hours i found myself in a panic with numbers of people, lists, papers, and phones scattered all over my aunts bed. after talking with TONS of people to see if they had any ideas, i called trent and he told me to call drew. drew showed me just how amazing he could be [when he's not trying to light my hair on fire]... he talked to his roommates and it was a go for the party to be moved to his house. i called over 45 people and informed them of the change of plans.
at around 7p i got to charlies and we went to bev and mo. way expensive, surpisingly safeway was cheaper [we had researched the prices the night before, thank god]. amberLB met us at charlies and the three of us went to safeway. collectively i spent $115 on alcohol. worth every cent to see my friends having fun. at 8p, amber and i headed to san mateo to pick up drew from work, we sat around and i called more people to see if they were for sure coming or not. when drew was done with his last tattoo, we all headed back to his house. when we got there, we unloaded all of the alchol, i met all the roommates i had never seen and then people started coming through. in about a half an hour, the kitchen was packed. music was coming from every direction and i was getting "happy birthday" from every which way. i'm so glad that everyone that could make it, did. i remember all up until about midnight. the rest of my evening had to be filled in! hahaha.
i woke up on the floor of a bedroom. i got the will to get up and walked out in the living room. amber was there to fill me in and also to inform me that i was written on when i passed out. hah. all in good fun. :) i cleaned the kitchen and looked at the amount of garbage that was accumalated. haha. we left after everyone got back from breakfast and then i got back to my car and drove home. i passed out til 6p and then remained to be a bum at home.
honestly, i couldn't really say which bday was better, last years or this years. but from what i can remember, this years was wonderful and i'm glad i got to spend it with everyone that i wanted to.
