as the rest of our lives approach
without a star in the sky
and a fence keeping me from the bottom of the hill
i borrow your phone
as u lay next to me. and just smile
that said it all
your words mean nothing
wen you smile that way
we were on top of the world
or a least above the people surrounding
you were all that mattered
i couldnt quite see yout eyes
but ive seen them enough to know
the tints and hues surrounding your irises
i cant remember the words exchanged
i just know how u laugh
i can still hear it
your away from any type of civilization now
and im sure im the least of your thoughts

at that night we just sat in your car
you seemed to always know
just the right words
or were you trying to make them wrong?
i can remember
just the way you looked at me.
you drew me in

and thats all ive got
no picture, just whats in my mind
the vivid images
