people are going to think that i'm crazy this summer. just like they did last summer. "how can you work so much?" "wow, don't you get tired of working that much?". no. not really. i put in thirty hours this past weekend and i'm ready to go back and work another thirty this weekend. sometimes to appreciate having to actually do things, you have to have absolutly nothing to do for a few months straight. also, when you work twice as many hours as your parents, they tend to leave you alone about alot of stuff. not that my parents have ever been strict, but i always have that trump card if they call me lazy. but, other than work, i don't see myself really doing much this summer. other than working all day and getting drunk for a few hours after i'm done. working gives you times to think, too. i've been thinking alot about what to do once the summer's over. go to usm, get back into the whole school thing, which i plan to do regardless, it's just a matter of when. or, take my savings from this summer and move somewhere. not like, florida or california. the only place in the states that i would move would be back to the City, possibly get a loft apartment in Brooklyn or Manhattan. I'd say Staten Island, but.. I'd want to live at Wagner or St. Johns, not in fucking St. George or Tomkinsville. The other possibility is moving somewhere where my money is worth alot. somewhere where i can live like a king on restaurant wages. somewhere third world. a friend just lived in a small coastal country in south america, for instance. for three weeks, he ate filet mignon every night. drank for almost nothing. did the best coke of his life. lived in a castle, for pete's sake. total amount spent, minus passport and airline ticket: $500. Five hundred fucking dollars. That is less than one weeks worth of work for me. I don't see how anyone can fault me for considering it.
But, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. For now, I work, get fucked up, and attempt to get laid. This'll probably be my last entry for a while, so, have a good summer, alot of you i'll probably see around. also, come down to billy's. i'm always there.
