Hello all :)
I should be in bed right now bc I've come down with a bad cough buut I feel like ranting and whatnot so here ya go. Today I finally went into 7th per. free in the commons (usually I'm in the lib. reading for class). So yeah I went in there and towards the end, this one table started making a beat by pounding on the table, which I tend to think is pretty cool bc I like trying to make beats and there's no real harm in that right? So yeah, eventually almost everyone in the commons joined in and even the security guard was like raising her arm, haha, so that was awesome! Tons of fun and I was cracking up. It was almost like school unity, I thought, haha. So everything's all nice and good fun and then at the end of the period some people decide to knock down the chairs....for no reason at all!! They just set them all down on their sides on the ground, just to follow along with whoever did it first because I guess they thought it was funny? But for some reason it made me, and some other people really angry. And here's the reason! Because it's immature, because there's no point, and most importantly, because someone has to pick all those chairs up after them!!! It just struck me as incredibly inconsiderate and immature. Now the security guards, or whoever, has to go behind them all, like their mother, and clean up after them! It was just dumb and there was no point. And so I yelled at them, and they probably all talked bad about me and blah blah blah, but I really don't care because it was just very immature and inconsiderate. No one had any response either, you know why? Because there's no good defense for that! It's just stupid and they knew it. Why they continued to knock down chairs is beyond me. Maybe to spite those of us who were yelling at them or to show that they wouldn't back down in front of their other friends, but that really does nothing to us, so whatever. And it's too bad bc I like most of those people too, they were just acting stupidly. It's the same as people who just choose to throw trash anywhere they please. They don't think about what happens afterwards, the people who have to go around cleaning up after them. And so what if "it's their job"!? Why make it more difficult for them?? And I'm sure they have a million other things they could be doing other than cleaning up after you! So yep, there's my rant. Let's not be idiots anymore alright? jeeze
