Just when you thought maybe after being at it for almost two weeks, you would be pretty good, but I ended up wasting paper again today by typing out wrong invoices. Worse off, I gave a mistaken order and ended up producing half the amount requested >_< Thank God that there was still time to make up for that, and the people at office are forgiving.
Gotta be better at this.
I still haven't discovered the part of the job where I have to start paying people. I guess that's for tomorrow.
Also, I still don't know how to manage how much is spent monthly. They tell me to go along with whatever the production side tells me that they need. But they also tell me to watch my (company) bank account. Like, how am I supposed to know how much money should be flowing in and out?
Plus, I just discovered that I need to go through some 30 PO's from another department to figure out whether I need to claim money from them because they didn't order enough bulk.
Well, this sounds like a whole list of complaints, but it's really just the leftovers from today's work plaguing my mind.
My favourite part of a work day is leaving the office. I'll stay back and pack up my desk and - this is amazing for a generally messy procrastinator like me - sort out what I need to do the next day.
Well, the only down side to any work day would be seeing the boss.
astellecia and I are agreed that he has this perpetual look on his face that goes something not unlike "what the dickens are you doing?!?!?!?!?!?" I mean, all the time he looks like that. I'm so glad my office is the furthest thing from his - on the first floor and in complete wintry conditions, that would be full blast aircon regardless of rain or no. Just need the missing snow or something.
Okay, I'm leaving you guys with soundbites because I found this totally awesome site that has like 600 songs off anime soundtracks. Don't wrinkle your nose just because it's from anime D<
Cosmic Dare - from Cowboy Bebop, and relax, it's completely in English. Catchy. Absolutely Faye Valentine. I loved it when I first heard it. Fave line: "Still sitting pretty with a pistol in hand." Yup, Faye Valentine.
To All the Dreamers - from Yakitate!Japan. You know, the ending with Tencho in retro get-up and looking kinda like the background dancers from DDR animation. A little bit of Jappish R&B (i believe the category might be) with quite a bit of english. Anyways, the lyrics are all there.
Tiny Waltz - from GetBackers. This is a delightful violin duet that's really catchy and waaaay too short. Makes you wanna clap you hands, twirl about, do a little with-yer-pardner dance not unlike the one from the scene in Titanic where Rose was hanging out with the third class passengers and kinda dancin' with Jack.
Fly Me to the Moon - from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I chose the one that didn't have a Jap accent completely mutilating the english lyrics. Jazzy, a little heavy, but still pretty nice. There are like four or five versions of this song, a NGE thing, I think.
Call Your Name (Piano Version) - from Vision of Escaflowne. Somehow, I really like Escaflowne songs. At least, the ones I've heard so far. Very easy, slow, kinda soothing - the sort you just sink into a nice couch/pile of pillows and just close your eyes to. Of course, anything acoustic is a thumbs-up.
What'cha Gonna Do - also Escaflowne. I somehow think either
thehumanmarble or
amorosity is going to like this. Quirky song, this one. Despite that, it's still kinda vaguely jazzy. The lyrics start like: " Uh oh Uh oh Bom bom bom bom bom Bom bom bom bom bom Bom bom bom bom bom Bom bom bom Uh oh"
Tank - from Cowboy Bebop. An absolute must-hear big band music. Jazzy, catchy and just breathtaking. Gotta love the saxophone and the trumpets and the hand drums. Classic Bebop masterpiece, alongside Rush, which I haven't found a link for yet.
zelizzel, take a listen!
So many more that you can take a listen to (: Best recommendation would still be Tank though. I've even heard it on radio.
Okay I gotta go get ready for another day of work tomorrow, and hopefully some KFC. They couldn't do delivery today because it's been raining all day long. Well, it might have been a good thing that we weren't able to get some fried chicken goodness.
SatRisa kissing-under-the-mistletoe userpic since the Christmas mood hasn't quite rubbed off yet.
