Okay, I'm going to tell you right away that you are going to get some pretty rude replies to this because of some of your views. You seem to be a very conservative person, and that might not go over so well here. But I think most of us stray away from the "you're allowed to have an opinion as long as it's what I agree with" mindset. Don't think that this is a bad community-- but sometimes you catch us on a bad day and for the most part, we're pretty liberal.

I try to take the interests with a grain of salt, but you had some amazing ones (Titanic, GREY'S ANATOMY!!!!!!!!!!!!, To Kill a Mockingbird) and some horrible ones (Tom Hanks, THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER). Overall, I think I like that aspect of you. But it's not all that important.

Your opinions were detailed, but I'm not sure they were all necessary clear and thought-out. It seemed almost like you rambled on some of them without stating a clear point.

I'm not going to hate on you for your abortion answer, but I am honestly curious about what you think of the mother's place. I know you said killing an unborn child is murder, but what about the rights of the living, breathing, able to survive on her own mother?

Your Bush answer surprised me a bit (I had pegged you as a full-fledged Bush supporter) and I agree with you that Kerry wasn't the right man for the job, but he was probably more capable than Bush. I try not to play the "what-if" game, because we don't actually know how anything else would have gone, but seriously, I'm not sure how much more Bush I can stand. After your war response, I'm curious about your views on war.

My biggest issue with your gay rights answer was what you think-- you said what you are supposed to think, but I never really got what you think out of it. I feel like you went back and forth and ended with "and this is what I think." So what do you think?

I actually completely disagree with your censorship answer. The last thing I want is for the news to be censored even more than it already is! I don't think we see all of what we can, and I think we have the right to see it all. From your opinion, I got the message that we shouldn't see everything because then we might not support the war. Um.. that just seems backwards to me. I feel like we need to see it all. How else will we form opinions? We have the right to disagree with the war.

Our religious views are virtually the same, although I'm a bit liberal in mine. I don't think I could ever have an abortion, but I don't believe I have the right to stop another woman. I understand where homosexuality plays in the Bible, but I think everyone has the right to life and liberty and happiness. And blah, blah, we could go on all day. ;-)

I'm not sure about you. We need active members and you watch Grey's, so you have those going for you. But I'm going to need you to sway me.

Why did you enjoy The Perks of Being a Wallflower?

I can not believe you do not like Perks! I loved it. I just loved how he wrote to someone the entire time and the way he described things. I read it in two days, it just captivated me.

I am not conservative at all! When I register I will register Democratic. Yes I believe abortion is murder, but, I do not believe America has the right to tell you that. I believe in complete seperation of chruch and state.

I think gay marrige is not what god intended marrige, but I also think that if we are going to take prayer out of schools, then the united states can't tell two men or two women that. I don't 'hate gays' as most christians might come off as, my aunt and bestfriend are gay and they are my favorite people in florida <3.

Yea, I see where you are comming from with the censorship thing, I guess its just where we see things from.

I am a really active member and this is why I think I should be accepted, because I didnt force my opinions down your throat and I tottaly respect yours!!!

If you wrote that you liked the Perks because of the chocolate shake or the "infinite" quote or gay sex, I would have given you a no. But I liked your answer. I thought The Perks of Being a Wallflower was filled with way too much angst for such a small book-- I felt tortured going through it. It seemed like it wouldn't end and it took me quite a while to get the enthusiasm to finish it.

I understand where you are coming from in your answers, but I still have a few questions about what you think.

You think abortion is murder, but you don't think the government can penalize someone for it? Do you think abortion should be legalized and available to everyone, or should it be illegal? I'm just curious, because I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're saying.

As far as gay rights go, your personal opinion is that it is wrong, but you don't think it should be nationally prohibited? I think you were comparing these, though, but I have this question: if prayer weren't being taken out of schools, and nothing of that sort was going on, would you think the government has a place in allowing gay marriage?

Why do you feel the news should be censored? I'm curious, because I think it's already censored enough. What do you think is too graphic? And do you feel it's just the news? What about books or newspapers?

Start spelling "tottaly" as totally and you'll fit right in. =)

I think I can answer both topics this way, It may be strongly debated what are country was based on, but I believe it was based on the God I serve, not another religions god. I believe that if our nation were still to be based on that God that the nation would have the right to tell people if they could get married to someone the same sex as them or if a woman could have an abortion, but since the nation then later established a seperation, that it should keep those values. If the nation believes now in seperation of church and state then I believe abortion should only be ilegal because people feel morally inclined not religously. Does that make sense?

Also I think our news sources focous on only bad issues and not the good, because I know people do good things.
