I know that type, they're irritating. The school I went to had them, but mostly they weren't in my class. My class was a bunch of jokers who loved the work so we got some really fun creative stuff going on.

I prefer the editing, but entry level editing in the industry sucks. I'd really rather be putting something interesting together on Final Cut or Avid. Instead I fade to black and put spaces in shows that already exist so that they can put in commercials later. Boring. I don't mind the other stuff, but I can't write when I'm forced to, and I suck at coming up with ideas and characters on my own (which is why fic is perfect, I already have a back drop and something to go on). I enjoy going on shoots, but I hate carrying all the equipment. When it comes down to it, I'm a wuss and not very strong. And tripods are a pain in the fucking ass to carry!! Nope, sitting in a room with a computer is much more up my alley.

Too bad you live in the states, if I ever have the money to get a new computer just for editing and Final Cut Pro, I'd totally edit for you.

It'd be awesome if you could edit for me. One day maybe. IT'll give me an excuse to get out the country at least.
Yeah, with writing, I can't just come up with an idea real quickly because I just get so detailed. I usually need someone to suggest something or I'll build on it. I think I'd like doing fic because of that reason. I really should start. I suck with cameras too. I just know how to plan how I want everything set up and I know how I'd like my actors to act but I can't use a camera for shit.

LOL. Yeah, anytime a camera is involved, I always ask someone to do it because with me, it'll come out all shakey and there's the inevitable "Some filmmaker you are. Can't even hold a camera."

Yeah, I have tripods. For some reason they bug me. I don't know. I think I'm just too lazy to be patient with stuff like that. I just like to get my ideas out there and done.

Tripods are a bitch to carry, but totally make the camera work look waaaaaay better.
