After much fun and debauchery (well, just a little debauchery,) Manson and I had to cut our trip to New York short by a couple of days and fly back to LA. Turns out there was a lot of work to be done at home: press conferences, interviews, publicity photos, videos, etc. Of course, that was mostly his responsibility. I just stood nearby smoking while he said nice things about me.
I had a great time in New York. I laughed myself silly listening to Manson and Alan Cumming banter like they were starring in an Oscar Wilde play. I had the best dinner and sing-along among the fine company of Michael Stipe and Rufus Wainwright. I got pinned to the ground by Kembra and her opponent Blacklung. (When I say pinned, I'm not talking WWE style. This was much much more fun.) Best of all, I got to see Gina again. She seemed a little down at first, but her spirits seemed to pick up as the night wore on. I hope we were able to show her a good time, and I hope it won't be so long between visits again.
I haven't had much time to rest since we've been back, so it's going to be an early night. I'm just having a nice bottle of Singha, then a little dinner, then another Singha or two, watch "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here," and it's off to bed.
Yes, I've been watching this silly show, but I can't help it. Robin Leach is smarter than I thought. Downtown Julie Brown still looks pretty hot. Chris Judd seems like a pretty cool guy, and I'm even rooting for Melissa Rivers. Bruce Jenner looks like an overage Ken doll, but oh well. The one I want to win is Stuttering John Melendez, because I'm a shameless Howard Stern fan and John rules.
I swear one of these days soon my posts will be really interesting. For now, thank you for your patience.
