Seems my computer has been ill for the past few days, thanks to it having beer poured on the keyboard.
Oh, and I suck. (Pogo made me write that.)
In other news, touring the UK has been both awesome and exhausting. Monday, we played Glasgow. Not much new to say, but the crowd looked quite dapper. Although, I'm thinking that most of the audience was afraid to really let loose in case they lost their dreds or spilled beer on their tights. Otherwise, they were a lovely audience...fuckers No, really, they were great.
Despite the hazing and the soggy computers, I have been enjoying myself both on and offstage and I never fail to be grateful for landing this band gig. Don't worry, I'll stop being sappy now.
Manson and I headed back to London a little early Monday night and managed to briefly catch up with the Murderdolls after their show at Madame JoJos. Having seen the pictures of the guys in full drag, I'm sorry we didn't make it there earlier. Plus, since then, I've heard a lot of buzz about how great the show was. Considering that there were only about 200 people allowed in the club, the word of mouth is incredible. Those guys are going to be huge. ...fuckers No, really they were great.
Tuesday was a day off for us. Manson and Dita did a little sightseeing and most likely some shopping. It's very dear to see them together. All she has to do is give him a sweet smile and a "Honey, let's go to the museum," and he's there. As for me, I've been lying low for a bit and just wandering around Soho and Leicester Square pub hopping with some fellow musicians. I'm not sure about the rest of the guys, but based on their cheeky grins, Ginger and John seem to having a good time. Pogo is off on his own a lot, but he seems pretty happy when he's not talking to me. Well, in general, pretty happy in the Pogo sense of the word.
The next day we caught up with the Murderdolls again at the Metal Hammer awards where the boss won for Best Frontman/Frontwoman. Apparently the judges couldn't decide which one he was. The 'dolls also won an award for Best Newcomer. Congrats, guys, you deserve it.
It was an early night for Dita and Manson, as something didn't agree with his stomach and decided to stage a violent protest. It was more pub hopping for me and then home early (well, technically, 4am is early) to rest up for the Brixton show on Wednesday.
By the end of this week, London WILL be ours. Muahaha!
