Showers
Siva walked upstairs to the showers after leaving Lex in the entrance.
She tossed her clothes onto the floor and climbed into the hot shower. Long day. Bad day. Odd day. She couldn't quite get her thoughts straight. Everything was jumping around in her head, making her even more confused than she already was, if that was at all possible.
The one person that kept running through her mind was Java. She knew she was ok, she was Java, after all. She just wanted it confirmed. She wanted to know if her sister was ok.
Letting the hot water run over her head, she turned around and placed her hands on her stomach. This stress, this unnecessary running around was hard on her, and it wasn't good for the baby. She just wanted things to be easier, like they were when the adults were alive. But now they were the adults, as sad as that was.
But she was still somewhat a child. A lost child who couldn't figure out what was going on. Maybe it was just hormones. Maybe it was just everything finally hitting her all at once. Whatever it was, she was glad that the water hid her tears.
