Sticky: Friends Only + Info
Who are you?: Riley. I'm a innocent youngling with a strong desire to write. Sometimes I think I'm mildly dyslexic.
What is this for?: This journal is for me to post all my writings. I keep this friends-only for legel issues only. If you want to friend it, feel free. Chances are I'll friend you back within the day.
Why is this journal friends-only?: Because some people steal. Heartless crooks might come and try to take my ideas and call them their own. I'm quite protective of my work. I spend hours working on it, after all. If you were me, I'm sure you'd be paranoid too.
Will your really add me?: If I don't know you, I might ask you how you found the journal, why you want to friend it etc, but in the end, more than likely I will add you. I love sharing my work, I'm just careful about it. And if I know you from somewhere, you should mention it. You'll probably have a better chance of being added quicker.
What do you post here anyways?: I post short stories mostly since that's usually my genre of choice. Occasionally I'll go crazy and try to write a novel. I'll post about my progress and I'll post excerpts and then tell you when my coffee maker finally dies and I decide to give up. Lately I have been writing more poems than usual and I post them too. Book reviews are posted publically since they're just my opinions and people are highly unlikely to steal them (plus I love talking about books whether I know you or not). Occasionally I'll post about non-writing stuff or link to some resources I found. But mostly, you'll find writing related stuff here.
