ahhh me to explain danny? to sum him up, he's incredibly crusty and abrasive with a really sweet gooey centre. He holds everyone at arms length and is socially retarded sometimes.

On the other hand, he is my best friend. He knows how to make me laugh, he knows when to tell me to shut up and knows how to calm me down when i things get too much. he loves me very deeply and when you have GAINED his loyalty he will go out of his way to care for you.

We have been rocky because both of us have "abandonment and commitment issues" and been working them out with each other. We also dont know where both of us will physically be in the past little while because he was waiting to see what was going on with his PHD programs he applied to. So now that we both have an idea we are working on us right now. We need to be solid if we are going to attempt a year long long distance thing.

Most people think that we should give up on eachother and go our separate ways. He and I aren't ready to do that. you see people see danny being crusty and me this bouncy happy thing and they go "what the fuck?!?!?! why is she with him????"

There was a few weeks where we went on a break and i went on a few dates.These men were giving me all the things i was lacking in my relationship but thats when i realized that all the things i was getting from danny was the most important things.

well thats my relationship. and no, we dont live together. we do give people the impression that we do, we act like a couple thats been together for a very long long time. it was weird even when we first got together, people thought we acted like we were together for years.

i mean i do live there every weekend but we're waiting a year till we move in together officially.

do what feels right for you. as long as he doesn't pressure you, demeean you, hurt you or make you feel stupid or unworthy, it's worth it to stick it out. does he make you happy? then stay with him.
