yesterday and thursday were pat's birthday days(his actual is the 9th) we celebrated his german birth and then the american time of when he came into this world.
it was good. we had dinner with his family at his house and he opened cards, patches basically sat on my neck trying to get food, i love the kitty.
he was quite upset that he didn't get the wii but his mom gave him the money to buy one.
so the search began.
we went everywhere thursday night and couldn't find one, then a ray of hope(enter choir singing) best buy could possibly get one on friday.
so pat and i went home, he was quite discouraged and birthday grouchy.
he worked on his birthday, i felt bad lol so i made heart-shaped cupcakes and sent them into his work, i think that made his day a little better.
then best buy tells pat "call in at two and we'll tell you if we have any wii's" and i was like no way, they'll have them before two.. so I call at 1:45 and they got 15 in and had already sold 6 in the first 10 minutes.
hahah so i leave work in the company car without notice and drive to best buy as fast as i can, i took up almost two parking spots and i ran into best buy and made them get me a wii!
pat showed up with glee on his face and got a zelda game to go with the ones that already come on it.
he played it almost all night last night and i'm excited for him, it's really, really fun.
boxing is the best. the only problem is that the controllers are almost harder to find than the game console itself, which stinks so we only have one now and were on the hunt for more.
