Chillin like a villian in sunny CA.

Let me just get this out.

Crestline is freaking beautiful--freaking beautiful.

A mountain community with tons of little mom and pop stores, fresh air, and a kickass view from every window of your home. Aiko is a little bundle of energy, playing with her all day, and she not running out of energy while I do--makes me rather envious. =o But by the end of the day, I'm too tired to be envious, lol.

On the bad news--Fafsa completely wiped out all the information that mom gave me two weeks ago. So Now It's past the deadline AND I have to call her to go through that bullcrap again.

-sigh-

So much for having a completely stress free spring break--I'm gonna have the thoughts of my procrastination on my mind almost every night.

-headdesk-

So yeah, on about the first and second day.

When I was leaving the terminal--I could see Dad, Ryoko, and Aiko, all waiting down at the end of the hall for me. =3 I was excited.

Afterwards we hit up the Japanese/American embassy since Ryoko had to get a few things done. (She's trying to get her green card--and I actually learned a bit from this little errand. It turns out the Hapanese don't really care about Birth ceritificates, they only care about 'family registry'. =o Makes it a bit difficult to get a translated birth certificate don't it?) We got some Sushi for a good 40 bucks to feed ourselves--then went grocery shopping.

=3 Pick up Anpan, Melonpan, Taro root, Lettuce, etc--The anpan and Melonpan taste good! I don't know what the hell dad is thinking!

Played with Aiko for the remainder of the day--had Sakiyobi, or what was it called? I know it was--OH YEAH! Sakitori! That's it! Ryoko and dad cooked strips of meat, very aromatic mushrooms, lettuce, tofu, and an odd looking type of noodle together--and it was all at the table.

=o if the little pot got empty, they just threw in some more. So it was always hot n' fresh. Oishi~!

Today was pretty much the same thing--only slightly different. We took a brief walk around a lake, looking for carp/fish and taking a gander at the ducks. We stopped for a while at the park and let Aiko-chan play. Before the park though--we went into a pharmacy, who was coincidentally selling burts bees stuff.

(Curse that challenge prize, I'm addicted to the expensive good smellyness.)

Dad knew about my liking, (we sorta talked about it last night, Ryoko couldn't get over how good the almond lotion smelled, lol.) and bought it for me. I was like "Ten bucks?! For a bottle of lotion?! That's crazy!"

He replies. "Your grandma is going to most likely buy stuff for you too ya know."

/._.\ Mn, I know.

But I feel so guilty. I don't want to seem like the greedy hording type. But I also don't want to seem like a jerk in not accepting a gift. T_T Catch-22, damned if I do, damned if I don't.

So yeah, anyway.

Me, Ryoko and dad talked about the Japanese language--I learned how to pronounce time, and I also learned that I have a bigger vocabulary with animals than my dad does. =3 LOL. But, maybe that's not true, he will likely know three times more than me with animals--just he can't know all of them.

I might've just gotten lucky with the few he doesn't know.

So yeah, learned how to tell time, Ji for hour, fun for minutes. Remembered a few words that I had forgotten--Warui, being one of them. Was told that I don't need to include Hito at the end of Otoko and Onna for pointing out a person--it just sounds silly.

Ate some home made Gyoza, accompanied by miso soup and rice, (a duh, rice, duh.)

=3 I love visiting my dad, I really do.

I feel so spoiled.

Where else am I going to get such thanks for doing dishes? Oh well, I guess it comes with the title of a being a guest. =3
