The news is old but the feeling still hasn't worn off.
I'm now a completely official student at Purdue University Calumet and will be majoring in Computer Graphics. Fafsa has been completed, and it's been such way before the deadline, and from what the feedback says, I'll be getting a free ride.
Oh yes, Doug has finally become a manager. FINALLY.
Last night was his first attempt to close, and though he tried hard, he only got half the work done.
However, the fault doesn't lie with him, rather it rests on the computer and the people who forgot to clock in and out.
We were cracking up in hysterics in how utterly futile it all seemed. The instructions were confusing and pretty much half assed.
Poor Doug looked as though he had been hit by a train and a 10 car pile up. He really needed a break, sleep, or some kind of stress reliever. If Ryan hadn't school today, we would've all gone out.
But hey, at least I didn't have the lights shut off on me while I was cleaning, AND I did an immaculate close. -insert big grin here- Evelyn and Ann had totally nothing to say this morning when I picked up my check. Oh yeah, SCORE. Big time confidence boost!
Other than that, yeah, same old same old.
Miss my buddies. Got into a few spats with Ryan that were quickly resolved, had our anniversary although it was uneventful T_T -sigh-. Roleplaying D&D is good, though my cohort's now gone.
