Two pieces of news.
Today I was sitting outside, minding my business and reading Eleanor Rigby when a toothless, dirty, most likely homeless man walked up my front steps and took a seat next to me. He asked if my husband was home. Then he called me Angel, grabbed my arm and asked for money. Taylor always worries that I'll be out at a bar and get picked up by some beautiful man, but I tell him time and time again.. the only men that talk to me either have no teeth, want some cash money, are generally dirty and disgusting, or some combination of the three. As a result my confidence level is practically through the roof.
The other piece of news is that I went to a baseball game today. Let me just say that even though I do not particularly care for baseball, it was very enjoyable. And I ate a hot dog.
Oh, and it's summer.
