Thoughts, upon meeting Ar-Pharazon

All of us, in life, fear death, for we fear the unknown and fear ending. But it comes to all of us, for that is our nature, and there is strength, and dignity in knowing that this is a part of ourselves and in facing the stranger with a steady spirit.

There is none at all in running from it, or in lashing out in madness at those who did not burden us with mortality. And as for the Elves, any fool can see that they have their own problems, their own griefs that stem from their own natures. Let us be as we are, and they as we find them, for no man escapes sorrow, immortal or not. To court immortality is to court disaster and a swift death, and to seek it by force is mere stupidity.

And honestly? I died in my time, as everyone does, and it wasn't that bad. So suck it up and deal, you sorry excuse for a Man.

*disgruntled and dissapointed, hi*
