summer :)
so my summer has been going exceptionally well so far. thursday night i spent the night at lauren's and liane, megan, and cayla were there too. we made a home video of "the sisterhood of the traveling pants". i hadn't seen it yet.. but i played lena and they just told me what to do. it was pretty good, if i do say so myself. many laughs shared.. it was a good night all round.
on friday i went and watched soccer tryouts with them. later i went over to nicole's. we went and saw "the sisterhood of the traveling pants" since i really wanted to see it because of the night before. let me just say we cried the WHOLE time. i think it's my new fave. and the home-made version we made was so much like it! it's weird how they had me play lena and when i watched the movie, i felt that was the character i was most like. i'm actually A LOT like her. but thanks for letting me cry on your sweatshirt, nicole. hah :). oh, and then when we got back to her house i watched "the notebook". talk about having a good cry.. i hadn't cried for a long ass time until last night. it felt good.
today i went to the barn with nicole and i rode her horse. sort of. i was on it while she walked it in cirlces, and i think that qualifies. so that was pretty exciting. when i got home i went on a bikeride with my dad on ellwood mesa and then my family went to lake cachuma for my dad's company picnic. it was better than it thought it would be. i slept in the car for half of it, but still, the food was good and people weren't as weird and awkward as usual. my dad and i played horseshoes. i hafta say, that is the most boring game i have ever played in my LIFE.
i just watched "hitch" with my family and painted my nails. the movie was good until like, the last scene. i hate when movies screw up at the end. it pisses me off. even if it ended bad, it still made me think a little about meeting people. the three movies i've seen in the last two days have all involved love and it's so frustrating cause it just makes me want it more. i'm so anxious for a good relationship.
tomorrow i'm gonna play tennis with my dad and then we're gonna do something to celebrate father's day i think.
