new stuff
I did a bit of retail therapy today. Got my hair cut nicely this morning (not too much off, just more shaped) and then I went shopping (firstly with Pam, and then by myself) I bought some nice tops. Exciting! It makes everything so much more fun when you have new stuff.
I did try to buy some jeans, but tried on lots of pairs, and they were so uncomfortable, and tight! And I got scared of the sales girl, who waspishly informed me that they were meant to be tight! (she gave me lots of pairs to try on, which I rejected) Finally I concluded - jeans are actually quite expensive, they are uncomfortable, and they don't look good on me! So I bought a top.
Got confused catching the train today into the city. The voice said "the next train to perth does not stop at this station" and so I thought - bummer! But I thought I'd just wait and see. And then it stops! And I was like - huh? The voice lied! But I was glad it stopped.
I'm working four days this week, and organising music for another camp. But I'm on holidays! The funny thing is though, there isn't much difference between holidays and semester for me this year. I mean, there's no assignments and stuff, but I fill my time with whatever - catching up with people, doing stuff for church, and CU, and working, and other stuff - it just goes on! I suppose what I'm saying is that it's really good this year, how uni hasn't been too stressful, and I haven't been like - "I need a holiday!" But anyway, glad to be on holidays :)
