I very rarely post on livejournal, but I felt there was a pressing issue that needed to be discussed. Since when has it become all the rage to find fingers in your food? Most people have heard about the infamous Wendy's finger. In that incident a Las Vegas woman allegedly bit down on a 1 1/2 inch long finger in her chili. Turns out she planted it. Where the hell do you find a finger to put in your chili??? I just feel bad for Wendy's.

Then within a month, some poor guy in North Carolina buys a Kohl's frozen custard. The events that ensued are best related in the man's own words: "I thought it was candy because they put candy in your ice cream ... to make it a treat. So I said, 'OK, well, I'll just put it in my mouth and get the ice cream off of it and see what it is.'"

Stowers said he spit the object out, but still couldn't identify it. So he went to his kitchen, rinsed it off with water - and "just started screaming."

Stowers said he planned to contact a lawyer.

Yeah I would hope so. But the manufacturers this time are not denying putting the finger in the custard. Turns out an employee has been missing a finger. WTF.
