(no subject)
valentine's day:
i went up and met Ty at the mall & originally we were going to eat at ruby tuesday's; which is across the street from the mall, but when i got in my car Tyree told me to just follow him. so, we went down the road to the howard johnson hotel because they have this great restaurant inside called kilamanjaro's. he had reservations for 9:15.
so we get seated, pick out what we want to eat & order it. then, he tells me he has to use the restroom. So, i'm like "ok, but hurry up because i gotta go too.."
so, 5 pass.
10 minutes pass.
20 minutes pass & he's still not back.
.. then finally after 30 minutes of me sitting there alone he comes back. i was kind of suspicious so i was like "where'd you go?" and he told me that he went to call the bank because he realized he only had 23 dollars cash on him so he wanted to make sure his bank card would work. kind of weird, right?
so i just left it alone & we ate dinner. it was really good.
so we're getting ready to leave but instead of leaving out the door we came in.. tyree goes "let's go out this side door because it's closer to where we parked.."
so i think nothing of it and just follow him.. so we're walking.. and walking.. and walking down this hallway. then, all of a sudden we stop in front of a door and he pulls out a room key and i start smiling EXTREMELY BIG and i was like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!??" and he was like "here.. open the door..." so i open the door and the room was completely dark & lit with candles and there were rose petals everywhere.. leading from the door to the bed.
so, all that time he was gone at dinner he told me he was rushing trying to set things up.. i couldn't even speak.. i was just smiling and i just turned around and hugged him so tight and he told me he loved me.
best night of my life.
