Rain affected NCST

I have scanned some pics of how the rain in Mumbai affected NCST ( place I work ) during the last week of July. I need not describe much everything is quite visible in the pics.

Man that was something ! Surprising nobody came up with something radical to keep water out. Not that its easy but hey, thats NCST with NCSTians !!

Preventing water from getting in was not in our hands. All we could do was try our level best to save all equipments and important stuff. Rest everything was in the hands of Rain gods ...

I'll need a full re-creation of the situation with access to a cluster ( if any ) for simulations.

Man ! don't they show all this in the Hollywood movies ? ;)

These photographs were taken on 27th July, i.e., the day after.
On July 26th the cars that you see in the picture were under water!

With more than chest-high water outside, I think preventing water from flowing in was always going to be difficult (impossible?).

Ah ! The missing part of the puzzle. No wonder nothing/little could be done to prevent water from flooding NCST.
